Listen, support and save lives

We want to help and support people and their families who are suffering from or affected by mental health issues

We do not judge you for your feelings of anger, frustration, guilt, shame, helplessness, hopelessness, loudness or silence,  TRUST ME we understand.

We will listen, support and empower you to walk through the dark days and night that you are facing.

Mental Health issues can affect anyone at any time.

At Paul's Legacy we want to empower those affected by mental health issues to find support and solutions to the problems and issues that are causing them worry, anxiety and depression.

We want to support the whole family as they live through the dark days of trying to find answers to the issues they face.

We have live experience of personal mental health issues, and lived experience of close family members suffering from mental health issues or having died.

One voice can cause a ripple that one day may cause a tsunami.  Never underestimate the power of change.

Our mission is to change the way we look at mental health. How we treat those with mental health issues and how they see themselves.

We will fight for all those suffering with mental health to ensure they receive the best possible support and care.

We do this for and in memory of Paul, Vicki, Olivia, Jack, Linford, Taylor, Faye, Pamela, Christine and Ronnie.

We do this for all those who have left this world because they could not cope.

Let's start building together

Our support groups are for those suffering from mental health issues to come together and support each other.

No one person or their circumstances are the same. However the experience we feel, the pain and guilt and shame are similar.

We are all at different stages in our live and all have different pressures but many of us have similar triggers and self blame.

Supporting each other helps everyone feel better about the situation they find themselves in. We give each other hope. We give each other coping strategies and helpful information to get through the darkest times.

We also take away the feeling of being alone and in this on your own.

We all at times need someone and we all at times feel good about ourselves by helping others.

Make a difference to not just your own life but someone else's.

Master your mind with sport

It's a well known fact that not everyone likes to talk. Some people like to be in their own thoughts and deal with their own problems their own way.

With Paul's memory in mind, and his love of sport and walking, it is only natural that Paul's Legacy would include and encourage those who don't like to talk to do some form of physical activity.

As we grow we hope to run activities in different areas of Salford, where people struggling can take a walk, play football, rugby, or do some fitness training or boxing.

The outdoors is a place where you can find your inner peace and Paul's Legacy will help you find that in the best way we can, at your pace and how you want to achieve it.

According to studies physical activity enhances our wellbeing, self-esteem, reduces stress and plays a positive part in preventing the development of mental health issues.  If we can help just one person to feel in a better place we will be achieving our goal.
